UPDATED April 14: we have been given permission to fulfil orders once a week for the circuit breaker period

Hello from NUS Press. We hope you are all safe and doing well in these extraordinary times.

With Covid-19's disruption of everyday life in Singapore and across the world, many businesses – including publishers and bookstores like us – are impacted. We need to prioritise the health of our own team, and do what we can in the greater public effort of slowing the community spread of the disease. As of 2nd April, our office and bookstore on the NUS campus at AS3 are closed as we all transition to working from home full-time. Editorial, production and design work continues, as does marketing.

Unfortunately there will be significant delays in fulfilling outstanding orders on our webstore. As of April 14, 2020 we've been given permission to come into the office to clear orders once a week. We're doing that, but spare a thought also for SingPost and our courier company partners who are working to home delivery food and medicine as well as books!

Our thoughts go out to those on the frontlines, in healthcare services around the world, from the many healthcare providers and researchers who are here at NUS, to the healthcare workers who are our own parents, children, relations and friends. If you are lucky enough that your contribution is to spend your time at home, then use that time well: read a book! And if you really can't get out, click here to find a list of our eBooks which are available on different platforms. If you are on the frontlines, please accept our best wishes and thanks!

Best,
NUS Press team
